Classroom Posts

Ok, so since I am starting to teach again this year I will post some teaching stuff to this blog, as well as some tech stuff. These posts will probably be mostly tech related, but will have some teaching thrown in.

  1. It is interesting to me that the date on the article is August 11, 2011, since I've been hearing the current post-WW educational system isn't working as long as I've been teaching. It is also part of the "point" of literacy methods and STEM methods that I've been working on over the past year - to try to emphasize the skills kids today need like collaboration and problem-solving...

  2. Thats what I was thinking when I posted this article. We have so many great programs at Potlatch and I find a lot of the teachers willing to make this kind of adjustment for the students. I wonder why it is something that has been argued for so long. Why don't we make this kind of adjustment, or why haven't we made this kind of adjustment?
